InFLUenza virus UNIVersal VACcine development program
The FLUNIVAC consortium was funded by the European Commission under the FP7 program. Artemis was involved in the evaluation of induction of broad protective immune responses of vaccine candidates, using appropriate animal models. Several assays were developed in this project to study immunogenicity and the longevity of the induced immune responses, such as hemagglutination inhibition, antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity, ELISA and neutralization tests.
